It's Time for Tech Trek 2019!
What the Heck is Tech Trek?
Tech Trek is a one-of-a-kind, week long residential camp that provides 8th grade girls hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) classes, workshops, and field trips.
Since 2015, more than 250 campers from across New Jersey have enjoyed this educational, inspiring, and socially enriching camp designed to help girls see themselves in STEM careers one day.
Tech Trek has become such a meaningful program, more than 60 campers are attending this year; as well as 45 alumni returning home for the opening weekend! Held right here on the Stockton University campus, Tech Trek 2019 will run from July 21-27.
What it Takes & Costs, and How You Can Help!
The cost per camper ranges from $1,500-$2,000, and includes non-stop STEM activities, dormitory stay, all meals, and exciting field trip opportunities. To ensure that cost is not a barrier, each camper pays just $50. The AAUW provides grant support, but corporate and individual donations are needed to make up the difference.
By making a tax deductible gift, you will help ensure this memorable week becomes a reality for a camper. She'll discover the possibilities that could await her, and realize there are generous people supporting her. And when you make your gift, you'll receive a special thank you from a TECH TREK 2019 camper.
