About Women's Cross Country

Women’s Cross Country supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the course. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. These athletes and teams represent the very best of Stockton.

2018-2019 Highlights

  • The Stockton cross country team featured a mixture of veterans and youngsters, including some newcomers, in 2018. Some young runners assumed bigger roles in support of a few key seniors on each squad. The result was a solid season highlighted by the women's squad, who notched a pair of second places.
  • Senior Regina Duncan, a mainstay for the Ospreys over the last four years, was the squad's top finisher four times. She earned NJAC First Team honors for the second time in her career by finishing fifth at the NJAC Championships, one of her two top-10 performances on the season.
  • Sophomore Hayley Baydar was a key newcomer who was Stockton's first finisher three times, including two top 10's, as well as an NJAC Second Team runner.
