About Women's Cross Country
Women’s Cross Country supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the course. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. These athletes and teams represent the very best of Stockton.
- The Stockton women's cross country team competed in seven meets during the 2019 season, three of which were on the Ospreys' home course. Stockton finished fourth in the NJAC Championships and in the top half of the field at NCAA Regionals, placing 19th out of 38 teams.
- Maria Antoni snagged an NJAC Second Team spot by placing eighth at the NJAC Championships and collected one NJAC Runner of the Week nod. Jessie Klenk was the only Stockton runner who scored in all seven races while Jesse DeLello scored at six races. Dominique Tye and Jamie Wun rounded out Stockton's core of top runners, each scoring at five meets.
- Stockton qualified for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition with a 3.76 grade point average that tied for ninth in NCAA Division III. The Ospreys also earned the NJAIAW Team Academic Award for fall sports for the second straight year. Maria Antoni garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual status as well.
