About Women’s Field Hockey
Women’s Field Hockey supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the field. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. These athletes and teams represent the very best of Stockton.
- Stockton continued its rise as the Ospreys won 14 games, just one off the school record set in 2018, for their third straight winning season. Head coach Sarah Elleman led the team to the best start in school history by winning the first 10 games and the best winning percentage in the program's 17 seasons (.778).
- Casey Cordonna earned NJAC First Team and NFHCA South Atlantic Region Second Team nods for her play. Joining Cordonna in the all-conference category was NJAC Second Team selection Issy Gilhooley and goaltender Emily Gilligan, who was an NJAC Honorable Mention choice.
- Stockton qualified for an NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award for the ninth straight year and 14th time in the last 16 years. Individually, 18 of Stockton's 26 players qualified for the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, led by four Ospreys who also earned NFHCA Scholar of Distinction recognition.
