About Women’s Volleyball
Women’s Volleyball supports the University mission by providing significant components of the whole-person Stockton education. Stockton student-athletes perform both in the classroom and on the field. The student-athlete graduation rate is higher than that of non-athletes, with 75% having a GPA of at least 3.0. These players and teams represent the very best of Stockton.
- The Stockton volleyball team won 26 matches to extend their streak of winning 21 or more to 11 seasons. Stockton was perfect in NJAC play with an 8-0 record during the regular season, the 15th time they have gone unbeaten in conference play. The Ospreys led the league in kills (12.48 kps) and blocks (1.89 bps).
- Senior Allie Desmond was voted AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, AVCA All-Northeast Region, NJAC Player of the Year, NJAC First Team and All-ECAC Second Team. During the season, Desmond was named NJAC Player of the Week twice plus ECAC Player of the Month for October. She tied for 11th in the nation with 468 kills.
- Sophomore Emily Sullivan garnered an NJAC First Team nod for the second year in a row. Sophomore Julie Kohlhoff was named to the NJAC Second Team while junior Natalie Miller and sophomore Franceska Gustave earned NJAC Honorable Mention distinction.
- Sullivan and Kohlhoff also were selected AVCA All-Northeast Region Honorable Mention. Sullivan was named NJAC Player of the Week on one occasion while Kohlhoff led the league in blocks (0.93 bps) and finishing fourth in hitting percentage (.314).
